Top of every visitor`s list of things to see in St. Petersburg has to be the Hermitage Museum. A complex of 5 buildings – the Winter palace, former residence of russian tsars, the small Hermitage, the old and the New Hermitage, and the Hermitage Theatre – one of the largest and richest museums in the world.
During the tour you will visit the ceremonial rooms and rooms of the imperial family, you will see the masterpieces of painting by masters from Italy, France, Netherlands, Spain and England. They will get acquainted with art exhibits from different epochs, from the Stone Age to the 19th century. Also you will see pearls of the Hermitage: works by Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Titian.
In addition, you can visit the Gallery of Treasures (Diamond and Gold Pantries), as well as extend the excursion day to visit the General Staff or the Menshikov Palace.
Working hours: From 10.30 to 18.00, on Wednesdays – until 21.00.
The museum is closed on Mondays, 1 January, 9 May.
