The Golden Ring is a cradle of Russian culture. The cities in the Golden Ring are Sergiyev Posad, Pereslavl-Zalesskiy, Vladimir, Rostov Velikiy, Uglich, Alexandrov, Gus-Khrustalny, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Rybinsk and Suzdal. Nowadays the towns are called “open air museums” comprising the real masterpieces located in authentically picturesque nature.

Travel along the Golden Ring to see and experience the living history, admire the strict forms and ornaments of the ancient Russian architecture , feel the antiquity of the white stone masonry or the warmth of centenarian oaks laid in logs; to taste Russian dishes prepared in the traditional way, watch or even participate in historical reconstructions, wander through Levitan’s Ples, see numerous museums and workshops of traditional crafts, listen to church chants and folk songs that cannot be heard anywhere else…

Day 1

Arrival to Moscow. Assisted transfer to the hotel and check-in. Evening at leisure. Overnight.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Moscow city tour including all major sights of Russian capital such as Red Square and St. Basil’s Cathedral, Bolshoi Theater, Kremlin Embankment, Christ the Saviour Cathedral, Sparrow Hills and Moscow State University, Tverskaya and Mokhovaya Streets. 

In the afternoon – visit of the Moscow Kremlin (with its territory and cathedrals), a historic fortified complex at the heart of Moscow that has played a dominant role in Russian life for over eight hundred years. Nowadays the complex serves as the official residence of the president of the Russian Federation. It had previously been used to refer to the government of the Soviet Union (1922-1991). It’s the most known museum of Russia and includes five places, four cathedrals and enclosing Kremlin wall with Kremlin towers.

Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 3

Beginning a trip along the Golden Ring. Transfer to Sergiev Posad. Sergiev Posad is the town around the Trinity Monastery of St.Sergius (Troitse-Sergieva Lavra), one of Russia’s most important religious and historical landmarks and a place of both spiritual and nationalist pilgrimage. It is 60 km from the edge of Moscow on the Yaroslavl road. The Monastery was founded in about 1340 by Sergius of Radonezh, a monk who wielded enough moral authority to unite the country against Mongol Tatar. Trinity Cathedral (Troitsky sobor), built in the 1420s, is a heart of the monastery and in its way the heart of Russian Orthodoxy. Most of the icons are by the great medieval painter Andrey Rublyov.

In the afternoon – transfer to Suzdal. Check-in on arrival. Evening at leisure. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit of the most significant Suzdal sights such as Kremlin, Wooden architecture museum, Saviour Monastery of St. Euthymius and Nativity cathedral. Transportation to Vladimir, one more magnificent city of the Golden Ring. Visit of the Assumption Cathedral which used to be a mother church of medieval Russia. Return to Moscow. Accommodation at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the most famous Moscow underground stations and Arbat street which is situated in the centre of the city. Transportation to the railway station or airport. Arrival, meeting with St.Petersburg tour guide. Transportation to the hotel, accommodation and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel.

Saint Petersburg city tour. Your tour will cover all of the highlights of the city, we will drive along the Nevsky avenue – the heart of the city and make picture stops at the Spit of the Basil Island, the Senates Square and the St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Art Square and the Russian museum as well we at the two magnificent churches: Our Savior of the Spilt Blood & the Nikolsky Cathedral.

In the afternoon our guide will take you to visit the Hermitage Museum – the magnificent collection of art housed in the winter palace of Catherine the Great. This is one of the oldest and the largest museums in the world, founded in 1764; its collection includes over 3 million exhibits from prehistoric to modern times. Especially important are the collections of prehistoric exhibits, Egyptian art, Roman and Greek art, Scythian gold and Western European paintings and sculptures.

Visit to the Pushkin Palace and Park. The Summer Palace is the heart of Tsarskoe Selo (Tsar’s Village) – one of the most picturesque parks among the former residences of the Russian Emperors. Here you may touch the atmosphere of the Royal way of life in all its splendor. It is hard to believe but almost everything inside the palace is a result of a careful restoration which had been finished just 8 years ago when works on the legendary Amber Room were finally finished after the mysterious disappearance during the World War II. Today tourists from all over the world come to the Pushkin to see the marvelous park and the Catherine’s Palace.


Visit to the Peterhof (The official opening of the fountains at Peterhof is on May 16th 2015).

Located on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, the spectacular Peterhof attracts thousands of tourists with its parks, palaces and, of course, fountains. Among the suburban parks Peterhof is probably the most famous for its fountains and thus it is frequently compared with Versailles. ‘The Samson’ of the Grand Cascade is the most powerful and magnificent among the fountains of Peterhof therefore it is a symbol of the park. As a former residence of the Emperors, Peterhof is also the home of several palaces with the Grand Palace as its main landmark. It had been destroyed by the Nazis and than was carefully restored to demonstrate the splendor of the Royal way of life. You’ll see the halls, brightly decorated with gold, marble and numerous mirrors. The beauty of Peterhof, its marvelous fountains and palaces has left nobody indifferent and neither would be you. Visit to the Grand Palace and the Lower Park. Return to the hotel.
